Labor Day 2011 Camping

We went to Beverly Beach State Park in Newport with Pat's parents, Uncle Doug, sister Michelle, her boyfriend Allen and her son Jacob over Labor Day weekend.

We arrived to a nice sunny day. Grandpa and Uncle Doug were on a tuna fishing trip. When they arrived after dinner we found out Grandpa had hit his face on the railing during rough seas on the trip, chipping a couple of teeth and biting through part of his lip. Off he and Grandma went to the emergency room for the rest of the evening.

Sunday morning we had breakfast and then separated for our own day of activities. We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium (where we saw one of our Pastors). Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Doug went to old town. And Michelle, Allen and Jacob went to Florence.

When we came back from the Aquarium, we went to the beach for a little while. Uncle Doug found us there to let us know Grandma had fallen off the step of the trailer and broken her ankle - another trip to the emergency room.

Everyone made it safely home on Monday and that evening Michelle and Allen got engaged!

Quite the eventful Labor Day Camping Trip!
